Important: Slang can change by region, community and context. Review the original conversation before relying on an interpretation in sensitive situations.
How it works
SlangWatch first retrieves matching expressions from its editorial dictionary, including multi-word phrases and spelling variants. AI then interprets those records against the message and labels unsupported conclusions as inference.
SlangWatch sends the text to the configured AI provider for analysis, but does not intentionally put it in analytics, Stripe, URLs or server-side analysis history.
It combines SlangWatch dictionary records with contextual interpretation. Slang is ambiguous, so confidence and alternative meanings should be reviewed against the original conversation.
Three successful analyses per rolling 24-hour browser window, with contextual meaning, plain-English translation, basic tone, confidence and dictionary links.
